This commitment is supported by the comprehensive sustainability strategy of our parent company, the Kafrit Group.

100% green electricity
Since January 2024, we have been sourcing 100% of our electicity consumption from renewable energy sources.
We are taking this step out of conviction, as it enables us to completely reduce our SCOPE 2 emissions and make a significant contribution to the 1,5°C target of the Paris Climate Agreement.
CO2-footprint & climate neutrality
In 2023, we calculated our company´s CO2 footprint for the first time based on data from 2022. By voluntarily offsetting unavoidable emissions with climate protection certificates, we were able to achieve climate neutrality at the company level.

Our clear goal is ti reduce company-related emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to the reference year 2022 through the use of 100% green electricity and targeted efficiency improvements in our business operations.
PRS Green Label Certificate
A step into the future of the plastics industry
Have you heard about the innovative pallet return system in the plastics industry?
Wir are proud to have held the PRS Green Label Certicicate for several years now!
How does it work?
European polymer manufactures use standardized, reusable CP pallets. These are delivered to us, the processors, together with the goods. After use, we collect the empty pallets and return them once a certain number has been reached. At PRS, they are inspected, repaired, or, if necessary, processed into biomass in an environmentally friendly manner. This closes the cycle: the pallets that are in perfect condition and those that have been repaired are then returned to the manufacturers.
To qualify für the certificate, at least 65% of the pallets received must be returned. In the last 12 months, we have received an impresse1,234 pallets an sucessfully returned 1,210 of them to the cycle! Only 2% hat die be disposed of because they were damaged.
Thanks to this system, we have not only conserved resources, but also saved 173 trees! Our return rate ist currently an impressive 98%.
